Tony, David & Ian take part in the BUPA Great North Runtony

On the 16th September 2012 Tony, David & Ian took part in the BUPA Great North Run on behalf of the Antal Charitable Foundation. All money raised was donated to The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award - the world’s leading achievement award for young people.

The Duke of Edinburgh is a charity who aims to create a world where young people can reach their full potential whatever their circumstances.  Their ethos is to enable every young person of every background to do their DofE and succeed, regardless of any barriers.

They work with a wide range of UK businesses allowing their employees, trainees, graduates and apprentices to benefit from a life-changing Gold DofE Award programme. In return, businesses support the Charity’s growth through donations that enable many more young people from all backgrounds to do their DofE in the wider community.

Named ‘the cultural fabric of the North East’ – The BUPA Great North Run stretches across 13.1 miles, passing the iconic Tyne Bridge and finishing at the coastal town of South Shields. Please help keep the guys motivated and achieve their goal time of 2 hours by sponsoring them and this worthy cause by clicking here:
